Irie Fire Studio is a recording studio located in the Caribbean on the beautiful twin island State of Antigua and Barbuda, in the West Indies. It is housed in a renovated 17th century colonial style cottage which was part of a former sugar estate.
I studied Sound Engineering at Sae London from 2007 to 2009, earning an Audio Engineering diploma. I decided to further my versatility in the audio world by completing a "Professional Certificate in Music Production" from Berklee college of Music (online) in 2015. I have been playing guitar professionally in various bands in Antigua, playing all styles of contemporary music (including Reggae and Soca), since 2012. Performing on the local music circuit and at big events, opening up for international Artists like Chronixx, Buju Banton, Tarus Riley and playing alongside Marcia Griffiths (to name a few).
Irie Fire Studio has been open since 2012. Teamed with years of experience in many different facets of the audio world, it is hoped that this would help our clients realise their potential and achieve their goals on a local, and more importantly, an international scale. Our aim is to foster untapped talent and show what we are capable of offering the global community, as well as giving international Artistes the chance to record in a laid back, island environment.
The idea behind Irie Fire Studio is that of a place where one could produce high quality recordings in a very relaxed and creative atmosphere.
Irie Fire Studio is located in the suburbs outside Antigua’s capital city, St. John’s.
