Mixing timeless analogue tones with futuristic leanings and deep rhythms

Specialising in forward thinking soul and electronic music, Ross has carved a niche for himself in the Sydney underground with his unique brand of electronic soul music.

Ross has most notably produced and mixed records for artists DEREB The Ambassador, The Strides & Binjuice, and his engineering credits include Mac Miller & Touch Sensitive. On top of this, Ross has spearheaded his own successful creative projects as one third of Sydney bands The Goods, Cardboard Heroes, and one half of house music production crew The Possé.

First starting his career as a freelance drummer working with artists such as Tevin Campbell, Omar Lye Fook, Tim Finn, Dustin Tebbutt & Ngaiire, In 2011 Ross switched gears and became a founding partner and manager of REC Studios, on the original Studios 301 Castlereagh St. site. He held this mantle until 2018 when the site closed.

It’s here that Ross not only honed his own production skills but fostered a vibrant creative hub for the local independent scene and a go to space for international artists such as Skrillex, Travis Scott, Rae Sremmurd and many more. Now based at the Studios 301 facility in Sydney, Ross continues to play a vital role in the Sydney music scene whether he's behind the drums, the mixing console or the drum machine.
