I am a professional vocalist with a wide versatility in range and genres. I trained in classical music and perform with opera and theatre companies around the US and abroad including San Francisco Symphony and lead vocalist with Celebrity Cruises. I have sung on multiple cast albums of operas and theatre pieces including The Fourth Messenger and Mario and the Magician from Albany Records. I am the lead vocalist with Ashcans of the mind and can be heard on albums with Cappella SF (on Delos Records). I have released many singles and two full albums: Invitation to a Voyage and One Night with You.

I am able to provide Lead vocals in just about any genre, quickly and cleanly as well as full backing vocals. I use LogicPro to record, and use a Blue Yeti mic with pop filter and mixer (I also own several mics and can provide microphone options). I own 2 pianos (one baby grand and one upright) and can self-accompany.

Leandra is always prepared, professional, will immediately produce different sounds for vocals at your suggestion if you want alternate interpretations. I've given her some very tricky and melodically involved rhythmic lines (lines that require serious technical chops)... no problem! If you need a smooth sensuous sound... she has it. Has a soprano's upper range and a mezzo's lower range with a beautiful tone throughout. She is so easy and pleasant to work with. I've worked with her over a three year period, abstract music, funk, operatic, rock, pop... she nails it beautifully. She's my fav!
