Professional session guitar player

I am a professional session guitar player. My main genres are rock and metal. I have played guitar for 25+ years and produced my own music for 20 years in the genres rock/metal/punk. I have helped other people with their music for 5+ years but I only recently (2022) turned professional.

I can play most music in the rock/metal genres, with a real crispy tube amp sound. I always deliver guitar tracks played through a real tube amp recorded with a microphone. I also deliver the raw DI tracks.

I can do some real shredding if the song allows it, or some long sustain notes with great vibrato and feeling. I can play a really good Iron Maiden galloping style rhythm, but my main focus has always been lead guitar playing.

I always do my lead guitar parts based on what the song makes me feel. If the chord progression allows it, I can do an Yngwie-style harmonic minor shred, or some really fast Zakk Wylde-pentatonics. One thing I really like though is finding a theme and doing a nice twin guitar melody-line with a mix of slow and fast parts, focusing on the melody and a theme. Note however, I cannot create an improvised solo to any chord progression; I prefer it if the chord progression is based on one or two keys, of course with exceptions.
