Hello! My name is Kaylee and I am a professional bassist based in Nashville, TN.
I've spent the last 10 years of my career recording with multiple artists and playing shows all over the world. I want to use my skill to help you take your artistic vision to the next level. Whether it's tight bluegrass rhythm or deep pocket funk, I'll add the low end needed to make your track come alive.
If you're looking for more than bass, I can also provide synth, backing vocals, and arranging for your project.
Would love to hear from you. Click the contact button above to get in touch.

Excellent! It was super easy to work with Kaylee. She was a pro! Highly recommend and would definitely come back on my next track.
Kaylee has worked on several of my projects and is an absolute pro. Timely, efficient and very easy to communicate and work with. Bass chops are always exactly what my song needs. Can't recommend her enough!

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be as specific as you can in the beginning if you have a certain vision. If you are unsure of what you want the bass to sound like, express that as well and I will be happy to help find the right groove to fit your project.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been playing music for 18 years. After high school, I received a degree in commercial music from Belmont University and then hit the road with multiple acts pretty aggressively for the last 10 years.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Aston Sprit Condenser microphone, MOTU M2 2x2 audio interface, Orange terror bass head, Orange OBC112 cab, Logic X Pro
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: James Jamerson and Carol Kaye will forever and always be my session bassist inspirations. Jamerson did almost all of the motown era cuts while Carol Kaye worked on The Beach Boys records.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most requested work I get is for electric bass on any genre, but I've primarily worked on indie rock and country sessions.
