Jay.Soul is best known for his grooving but cinematic, genre-bending and award winning productions for AM444 (with one of China's most interesting artists, YEHAIYAHAN - fka ChaCha), intelligent hip-hop with Brooklyn star rapper Justo The MC (Showbiz, Skyzoo, Gang Starr Foundation), jazzy electronica with Mr.Windmill (Rush Hour, Bagpak Music), and warm, funky neo-soul with the likes of Russell Taylor (VH1 You Oughta Know), Corey (Dutch Grand Prize, 2002), Giovanca (Dox Records), and NineFifty (LoveCat Music).

Besides this, he's composed original music for and performed music in a few films and numerous theatre productions (NLFilm, Urban Myth, Produktiehuis Rotterdam, NNT and Huub van der Lubbe), and had his music synced 100+ times in tv shows (MTV, NBC, CBC, CBS, OWN) and other visual media, including NBA2K16 and 2 Hollywood films.
