Interview with Napcage

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: The project I worked on that I am especially proud of is "Hard Work" Because I am the main artist on it and it was my first project and the project that made me believe I could make more music and sure enough I did.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I am working on my new music, as I usually release a track every month.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: Nobody ever handled my music projects here, so my clients may chose those with good reviews.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Digital, because it takes less pieces of equipment and relatively less time to finish a music project, with the best quality morden music.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: To deliver their tracks on time and in the best sound possible.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: Making music fun

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: They commonly ask me why I am a rapper and a music producer, and the answer to that is, I love making music from scratch because it makes me understand every side of the game, I know what both to be an artist and a music producer really are, as they are closely related, it's not stressful. Plus artists are more likely to trust me to handle there projects, as I usually handle mine.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: The biggest misconception is that people sometimes believe that there is a fixed way of making music.

  18. A: I usually ask them What their favorite sounds for their style of music, Whether it's always the same or they are looking for something new.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Always tell your providers/producers/engineers what you want you track to sound like, as your likes may differ from theirs.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: I would like to work with a punctual artist, because I usually have other artists' projects to deal with ,so if you come in the middle of another artist's project, I get stressed .

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: The best way to finish your project in a short time is by not planning to finish it in the future(Tomorrow or next week) work on it like you have to finish it in 2hours. The more you feel that you have enough time, the less effort you make and less focused you get.
