A: If I'm working on a mix down, I start with finding the right levels and balance within the track. from there I will use EQ, Compression, Saturation, Resonance finding tools, then do another EQ to see if we need to clean it up even more. From that point, I will make sure each track sits perfectly in the mix.

A: I work with a treated home studio. I'm using Ableton with 5in JBL Mk2 as well as a Yamaha sub. I also use reference 4 to make sure the mix is balanced and sitting flat. I'm currently looking to upgrade my monitors to Adam T5V.
