I have engineered for acts such as Zach Bryan, Kacey Musgraves, Hanson, Paul McDonald. I have ten-plus years of engineering and mixing experience. Craig Alvin, Chad Copelin, and Jarod Evans mentored me and made me the engineer, producer, and mixer that I am today. I deliver honest and life-like records.

My name is Colton Jean. I am a multi-instrumentalist, mixing engineer, tracking engineer, and record producer. My goal is to bring realism and life to each record I am a part of in an effort to pass the artist's vision on to the listener. When I work on a record, I love to collaborate with the other involved parties to bring life and perfection (but not over-doneness) to the record. I will go beyond my role as an engineer when necessary in order to make stronger and more compelling records.
I have a large collection of equipment that I have curated to assist me during the record making process. Of course, knowing how to use gear is more important than having it, and with that, experience is the greatest teacher. I am blessed to have had experiences with some of the greatest mentors imaginable. With the knowledge they have passed to me, let us make a great record.
