Hi! I am a producer and engineer who has moved more into strictly mixing. I greatly enjoy the thrill of mixing music and helping artists achieve a finished sound with *feeling*! The feel of a mix is very important to me and I believe that can be achieved through communication with the artists that I'm working with. I worked in Chicago for many years across many studios and have owned and co-owned several studios around Chicago. I have worked on the soundtrack to the Roman Coppola film "A Glimpse Inside The Mind Of Charles Swan III" which I produced, engineered and mixed elements of.
My current home studio includes a 1978 API 1604 console loaded with vintage 550a and 550 eqs, original blackface D-Rev 1176 and (2) stereo EMT 140 plate reverbs rescued from Paragon Studios in Chicago that were originally housed at Chess / Universal and used on crazy records like The Ohio Players, and T Rex. I also have a Burl Mothership which sounds incredible.
