Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That I can transform a terrible recorded song into a grammy winning record.

A: What kind of sound are they looking for.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Always make sure your audio is well-recorded.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Water, blanket to sleep at night, my laptop, headphones, and backpack.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I am currently in school to become a pharmacist. After that, I will invest more into music. I have been doing this for over 10 years.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I would say my style is afrobeat infused with hip-hop.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Wizkid. He's sound and style of music is just so amazing to me. His music perfectly aligns with my tastes.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't be a perfectionist, everyone makes mistakes.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Hip-hop, Afrobeat, trap, and R&B.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My ability to pay attention to detail.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring over 10 years of experience making music, mine included. I treat every project like it's my own. I bring passion, dedication, and detailed insights to take each project to where it wants to be.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I first like to organize my tracks, give a full listen to the entire song to see what I am working with, then I go from there.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a home recording studio. My gear is a Macbook Pro, Apollo Twin X, Adam Audio T8V, AT4040, Rhode NT1a, and a beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 250 Ohm.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Akon, T.I., Wizkid, and Drake.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I do producing, recording, beat making, mixing, and mastering.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I created an EP. I am especially proud of this because for over 5 years or so, I didn't release ANY of my music. I always thought they sounded terrible and I wasn't good enough. I've finally broken out of that mindset and accepted myself the way I am musically. I can only grow from here on out and there's no reason for me to continuously hold myself back.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: My own music. Just experimenting with different sounds and trying to improve my beat-making and mixing skills.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Not really.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. I didn't grow up using analog so digital is all I know. However, I have recently started reading up on analog and started integrating analog-modeled digital plugins into my workflow.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will treat this project like it's my own.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The ability for me to use my audio mixing skills to invoke emotion in strangers who listen to it.

A: "When did you buy that?!" I am always striving to improve the quality in my studio and that involves many hours of research and buying new gear. My clients usually feel like there's always something new, be it a plug-in or hardware, whenever they step into my studio.
