Daniel Mołdrzyk

Mixing & Mastering Engineer

Daniel Mołdrzyk on SoundBetter

Hi! I'm Daniel and I love songwriting, producing and mixing music. Currently, I'm working on my pop-rock project 'Hedgehog Valley' and I'd love to share the same energy and passion I have for my own art with you.

I'd be happy to work with you and polish your song, taking it into new musical dimension. Even though my favorite part of creating music is songwriting and production, I love mixing audio too; you can check my recent work - The Changing of the Seasons - in samples section.

Music is something I can't live without and I can't wait to work with you on your project!

Interview with Daniel Mołdrzyk

  1. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  2. A: Songwriting and production, yet oddly enough I decided to not offer these services here: I love mixing audio but I'd like to have more opportunities to do it, since I primarily mix my own songs and there is always this 'period of waiting' between me finishing the production and mixing which I'd like to fill with some extra mixing activities. It's pretty exciting when you hear how the song changes from rough static mix into beautiful singing poetry. P.S. However, if you have finished melody and would like me to write catchy/deep/poetic lyrics, contact me!

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I'm working on my pop-rock project "Hedgehog Valley" with my friends; I'm in the middle of producing EP that will be released in early 2023.

  5. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  6. A: I would take SM57 so I could smash and open coconuts with it, haha.

  7. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  8. A: Excitement and fresh perspective.

  9. Q: What's your typical work process?

  10. A: While mixing, I usually start with static mix; I imagine that the only tools I have at my disposal are volume faders and panning, and I create well-balanced foundation for the next stages. Then, I listen to the song and ask myself what needs to be emphasized or fixed and proceed to mix bus processing; from then I proceed to individual tracks and process them if needed so they create a cohesive mix in the end.

  11. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  12. A: Adam Young, aka Owl City, Coldplay and Porter Robinson.

  13. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  14. A: Be yourself and create the kind of music you'd like to hear on the radio.

  15. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  16. A: Pop, Pop-Rock, Rock, Acoustic.

  17. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  18. A: Mixing, mastering + I can provide great lyrics for finished melody.
