Co - founder and musical director of the X Collective Eleanor has been getting stuck into many musical adventures since graduating from BIMM Dublin in 2016. Eleanor is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer and performer based in Dublin. Working closely with a range of up and coming musicians on the irish and european music scene, she specialises in female topline songwriting/ vocals and has been working with all members of The X Collective to help produce and curate collaborations.
Having performed under the artist name Zapho since 2016 she has recorded her debut album and been mass producing content for Zapho productions, including several music videos and twenty songs along with a 2 year release plan, that includes original Zapho works and collaborations. Zapho is a self sufficient DIY producer and songwriter, everything is made from her home studio.
Zapho roles (Lead Singer, Songwriter, producer, composer, recording engineer, band leader, social media curator, video director/ producer, marketing and PR management ) Since 2019 she has released several works, ‘100 Ways’ was her first single of 2020, a collaboration with Ryan O’Shaughnessy. ‘100 Ways’ achieved considerable success (100k on spotify), securing spots on two English Spotify playlists, R&B UK and Spotify Chill. ‘100 Ways’ has also been played on BBC Sounds and ATL BBC Ulster.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Zapho has just announced the launch Ireland ‘s newest music platform The X Collective. With music and artistic expression at its core, The X Collective is a creative platform that has opened its doors to the Irish music industry, focusing on the production and promotion of Irish recording artists and industry creatives. Ele Breslin (ZAPHO), The X Collective is a growing community with over 70 artists and creatives already signed up to the initiative offering a broad spectrum of music industry skills and expertise including recording, songwriting, producing, management, PR, videographhy, event management and much more.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I'm an established in Ireland, working with several of Irelands best Neo Soul artists as top line writing. I graduated with an Honours Degree and BA in Commercial Modern Music in 2016 and have been a self emplyed musican since. I have experience as backing vocalist performing on the New Forrest national Irish tour with artist Cathy Davey. In addition to releasing my own music as Zapho I collaborated alongside Irish Eurovision candidate Ryan O Shaughnessy, writing and co - producing topline for our track 100 Ways - Securing 2 major spotify playlists - Spotify and Chill and Breath of Fresh Eire, R&B UK, and plays on BBC sounds, BBC introducing and many more. Im co - founder of Irish label - The X Collective - my role is musical director, producer, curator, supervisor as well as distribution, band management, composer, arranger.

A: I write for myself and several female Neo Soul/ R&B artists on the irish and European music scene. My roots are in pop and singer songwriter genre, can equally work on energetic house/ dubstep, electronic music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is melody/ hook writing/ top line vocals/ harmonies/ vocal arrangement. I promise you wont be sorry. I know how to tap into emotion when singing and performing, whether, its bad ass attitude, gentle singer songwriter, energetic and rhythmic etc etc. I can manipulate my voice, tone and range to suit almost any genre, from country, pop, r and b, soul, choir,
