Essex Rumi's always had a penchant for electronic music production, having started out with making hip-hop beats on their smartphone all the way back in 2013. They soon taught themselves to use FL Studio and Ableton Live, and started mixing and mastering with a pair of DJ headphones. There was a love affair with trackers and chiptune music somewhere between all this, but that is best left little more than a skill today. Rumi's also great at adapting to new technology and instruments.
