Paul Witty on SoundBetter

I'm here to make YOU sound good! An unapologetic perfectionist with 30+ years experience spanning a large area of expertise. Music is my sole passion and reason for getting up in the morning. I have been blessed, to play, perform, and teach music my entire professional life and want to share my passion with other artists.

Paul has been involved in the Australian Entertainment Industry since the 1990‘s.
One of his most recognised musical achievements saw him playing ‘Ace Frehley’ in Australia’s premier Kiss tribute act, ‘Disstroyer - the Australian Kiss Show’. The band toured extensively through the Southern Hemisphere 1995 - 2005 and were personally asked by Kiss to accompany them during the Australian leg of their 1995/96 ‘Kiss Convention’ tour.
Paul played lead guitar with Melbourne Indie-Pop band ‘Tank’. Their critically acclaimed self-titled ep contained the single ‘Start Again’ which received steady rotation on Triple J as well as regular appearances in ‘The Oz Music Show’ on Triple M. The band secured several lucrative publishing deals in the US and had steady rotation on College Radio.
In 2006 Paul completed 2 seasons at world famous ‘Draculas Cabaret Restaurant’ in Melbourne Australia, performing as a guitar playing cast member in the shows ‘Beasts of Burlesque’ and ‘Vampyrates’.
Paul currently teaches VCE Music at Virtual School Victoria.
Apart from his work with Cover-band Mamma Jam, and sporadic fill-ins with various acts, Paul has his own production studio in Melbourne, Australia, ‘Zep-Tepi Studios’.
