Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: The current project I'm working on has been my most honest. it has opened even a deeper door of authenticity, honesty, and matured creativity. Bits and pieces of it are coming out as we speak.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I'm working on my second project, working with an artist with Epic records, and another male group with 300.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Hmm. Digital.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: My promise is that I will execute to the best of my ability, and as intentional with every record as the first. and if I cannot for whatever reason, I'll point them in the direction of someone who can. and thats on period.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: I love recording harmonies. I'm a singer myself, so I love creating moods with my voice, and helping to color a song appropriately.

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: Are you working with any other artist, and how soon can we work again. I always reopen the doors for repeat clients because it means that they trust the work, the vision, and the execution.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: The biggest misconception is that its easy. What we do is hard work, but because we enjoy t, we make it look easy. Not only writing and vocal producing, engineering yourself is a lot of work.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: Whats the feel you'd like me to embody, and are there boundaries stylistically.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: As a creative, I know how hard it can be to give someone else your creation to then bring to life without you having never met. We are here to help you, and ease you through this process. Communicate to us what you'd like, and then trust that we'll get it done to your standards, or even surpass them!

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: My Apollo interface, my headphone, my mic, my hardrive, and my computer for protools.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I've spent 12 years working under top writers and vocal producers to cultivate my gift. I started off as a demo singer, yet with attention from A&R's, it blossomed into artistry. I then spent some time singing background for Syleena Johnson and even John Legend while on The Voice with him. I have a lot of experience touring and live vocals which allows me to make the best choices when it comes down to laying a record down, as well as backgrounds. Outside of my own personal music, I still write and vocal produce for other artists. I'm grateful for my experience because it's paved the way for me to be able to produce a sound that a lot of labels love today.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: I'd describe my sound sexual, warm, and a tone unlike most other guys.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I'd like to one day work with timberland. I enjoy the grunginess of his production and his precision. I'd also like to write with Harmony Samuels one day. The way that mind works is insane, and I think I see parts of myself in the work thats written and recorded. One of todays greatest!

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Save your sessions to your hardrive, and not your computer! Learned the hard way. Also hit "save" as many times as you blink lol

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: I usually work on R&B and Pop vocals as that's what a lot of artists in my area focus on.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: My stringiest skill is my voice, but after would be vocal producing and arranging.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I bring harmonies, I bring melodies, I bring stacking, and background lines, I bring a freshness to each track.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: My typical work process depends on the job. If I'm writing, I start with melody first, lyrics second. If I'm vocal producing and arranging, I'm sitting with the song (if I didn't write it) and figuring out ways to make the song even prettier. It varies from situations o situation.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I use Protools to record in, Universal Audio Apollo Twin interface, I have a Slate Digital VMS ML-1 Large-diaphragm Modeling Microphone - Matte Black, and I use HD300Pro Closed Studio Headphones, and Sennheiser HD 300 PRO Closed-back Professional Monitor Headphones.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: I absolutely am inspired by Coldplay, Pj Morton, Timberland, Frank Ocean, and Krystal "Tytewriter" Oliver.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: Most common work I do is engineering the session, writing, vocal producing, and vocal arranging for clients.
