Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: We will work on your project/s until we’re both happy with the final results.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: I love working with so many talented artists.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I write a lot of music for productions and also I work as a session vocalist.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: Wonky Rock, Brassy Pop, Heavy Rock, Feel Good Indie, EDM and two Folk tracks.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Both! They both have uses for different styles.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: What kind of energy do you need for the track? How close do you want me to stick to the guide vocal?

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: It’s very important to me that everyone is happy with the final result so I always like to work on vocals until this is achieved.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: In order to survive the island I’d obviously have to bring my… Mac Gemini dual valve condenser mic Pre amp with audio interface And the Internet. 👍

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I’ve been singing and playing since I was 5 years old and writing since about 12. It’s what I know and love and I feel very lucky to have made a career from it.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: A bit of a chameleon! I love to sing in different styles from super intimate whisper vocals to heavy rock vocals with screaming and then all kinds of pop.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I genuinely love working with different artists all the time because it keeps things fresh and it’s inspiring to work with new people.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Keep working with as many producers as possible because you’ll learn new things from each one!

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: I’ve worked on so many different genres because I’m able to deliver vocals in a variety of styles. I’ve done Folk, all types of Pop, EDM, Heavy Metal, Rock, Grunge, Indie, and singer songwriter.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Recording vocals, writing vocal top-lines, writing songs, and music production.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: Energy, passion and my own sound/character.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: Keep going until it sounds great!

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I have built a nice sound treated studio space which is also pretty much sound-proof. I have a Mac with Logic, my main vocal mic is my SE Electronics Gemini Dual Valve Condenser which goes into my UAD Twin Finity Preamp and my scarlet 18i20 audio interface. I have UAD plugins, Plugin Alliance Plugins, Waves, Izotope, and so many others! And pretty much every VST I could ever need and I have some awesome synths, guitars, basses, a santoor and a harp.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: This is difficult to choose because there are so many amazing musicians and talented producers out there! I am genuinely inspired by everyone I’ve worked with firstly, and then after this obviously Dave Grohl is incredibly inspiring!
