I am currently studying my 3rd year of Audio Recording & Production. My home institution is the University of Hertfordshire, however, I am currently abroad studying the same course at Southern Cross University, Australia.
I function, primarily, as a mixing engineer, however this more than likely entails quantising and editing audio, as well as mastering to K-14 standard.
I primarily work digitally, but have free access to professional recording studios nearby, equipped with both analogue and digital desks, and a variety of monitors.
I ensure that every mix and master I do sounds great on any speaker system. This is achieved through trial and error; playing the audio back on various speakers (laptop, car stereo, iPhone, PA systems etc).
