Interview with Eva Friedman
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been playing for 21 years and living in Los Angeles as a professional drummer (both live and studio) for 9 years.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: My promise to clients is that their songs will be treated with respect and handled with the utmost care.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love being one piece to a puzzle and helping artists fulfill their vision.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a great feel and "song first" mentality to everything I do. I'm always looking to build an emotional connection to any song I play on.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: My view on the drummer's role is the same as Aaron Sterling and Steve Jordan. Song first and make it feel good!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I do remote recording sessions in a variety of genres.
