Latin Pop/Urban is my jam and soul, I live for incredibly catchy lyrics, melodies and rapping, or what we call “Chanteo”! Reggaeton, R&B, Trap, Dancehall, among others are genres where I excel at.
Do you want to:
- ..develop a song from scratch in Spanish or in English? You got it.
- ..spice your song up with some Latin flavor to your track? You got it.
- ..add some International influences to your Spanish lyrics? You got it.
- ..write some lyrics to a melody you can’t get out of your head? You got it.
- ..build a melody to your already written lyrics? You got it.
*All songs come with a professional and clear LEAD vocal recording of your song.
*I typically don’t allow the use of any of the recorded vocals on the final project, this is exclusively a songwriting deal, so I don't include a raw file of the recorded lead vocal either unless agreed beforehand.
*Revisions are quite flexible as well, as I truly want you to love the end result.

Interview with Aluro
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I have so many I'm proud of! One of my recent clients got a $30k grant to record a music video for a song my team and I worked on. However, the biggest accomplishment has been to see thousands of people singing the lyrics to a song I wrote live. Nothing will ever beat the feeling of touching peoples emotions so much, that they can't help but to shout out the song right back to you!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Creating the best Latin songwriting and production team in the world. I'm always on the lookout for talent and I'm eager to work with them to give YOU the best result possible.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Nathalie Q. and Ani De Los Reyes. Amazing musicians on the rise.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both! I feel they're similar to science and art, the world can't live without either!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise we'll have tons of fun and that you'll love the end result!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The sensation of communicating emotion through music. I can't express in words the feeling you get when you listen to your own song being sung by fans around the world. It really leaves me speechless!
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Q: Can we collaborate through royalties instead of a flat fee? A: Depending on the project I might be willing to negotiate, but most of the times I prefer a flat fee.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That writing songs include instrumentation and arranging. Songwriting is all about the topline or vocal melody and lyrics only!
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Any artist(s) or song(s) you want to sound similar to? Any specific subject you'd like to talk about? What musical style would you like to write in? What is your or the singer's vocal register?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Make sure you do your research on what you're looking for so we spend more time creating and less time asking questions :).
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My Martin guitar, some replacement strings, a notebook, a pencil and a satellite cellphone haha!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been writing songs since I can remember and have done this professional for more than a decade. I graduated Berklee College of Music a few years back and have been able to work with an incredible amount of musicians, songwriters and producers who have influenced my sound and have made me who I am today.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Modern, singable, easy to remember.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Camilo and Rosalía, both amazing creative people that are crushing it.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Bad song + great production + great engineering = bad record. Make sure your song sounds great from the start!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm all about Latin and Urban music! :D
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Hook writing. Gotta love em hooks! I'm also excel at communicating my ideas and getting a point across.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Emotion and innovation. Not only do I write everything with an extreme love and passion for what I do, but I'm also on top of what's being released and always on the lookout for new rhythms and melodies that can inspire me.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I usually ask a couple of questions to my clients before getting started to know exactly what they're looking for. Once that's done, I usually import the instrumental my client gives me and start writing on paper, or I start writing from scratch with my beloved Martin acoustic guitar or my piano.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I know every inch of my studio equipment, room and setup. From the high end mics, to my sweet ukulele, to my audio interface. Professional recordings are a minimum for me as I always push myself to use all the resources I can to create music that breathes and resonates with people.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Camilo, Rosalía, Julia Michaels, John Mayer, Ed Sheeran, Khalid, oh so many!!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Write songs from scratch or on top of an instrumental demo.
