I started recording professionally at 14 years old, and went on to graduate from Berklee College of Music as a scholarship vocalist with a degree in Music Business & Management. My career has taken me everywhere from Columbia Records to the Grammy Awards, and I've worked full-time in my own music business & full-service recording studio since 2012.
With over a decade of professional recording & music industry experience, I am excited to share what I do with the SoundBetter family for the first time! I record high-quality session vocals and write radio-ready songs very quickly, since this is my full-time job! I pride myself on being professional, efficient, highly communicative, and detail-oriented. Your success is my biggest priority!

Interview with Xtine Elise
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: There really is no "usual" in my musical world! I have legitimately done serious work in everything from hip-hop hooks, to international EDM, to country music. I LOVE the variety truly, and working in varying genres makes what I do so much fun! I would say my heart lies in R&B/Soul with a pop-edge, but anything in a contemporary space is what usually fills my session work.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: From a business perspective, I think my strongest skill is communication and professionalism. I am an expert at time management and providing a flawless product in a timely fashion. From a music perspective, my strengths lie within my innate musicality, highly trained ear, and improvisation skills. I love to add my creative spin on things when the job calls for it!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to get to work on my projects right away. I typically start digging into things within the first 24 hours of booking, and like to fine-tune during the next few days through project completion. I like to communicate during this process and keep the client included while things progress and approach the final stages. I find this works well for everyone to make sure the end product is exactly what was envisioned!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I have a variety of projects in the rotation every month, but I most often cut demo vocals, top line, and do features with full lead, harmonies, and background vocals!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: My promise to clients is consistently providing high-quality work that is timely and professional-grade, while communicating effectively and treating each project, regardless of budget, with the same passion and care as if it were my own.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love that every day is different! I always loathed the idea of a "regular 9-5" where the schedule and work is monotonous. Music always challenges me to learn, grow, and expand my skillset in a variety of genres. I enjoy working with different people from around the world and being able to connect through something we are both passionate about.
