Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I’m super proud of the last Jeremy Camp album “Deeper Waters” as it was my first album as “Executive Producer”. It was so fun to speak into the project as a whole from a higher level and I love how it turned out!

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: Creating something from nothing.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: MacBook Pro, SM7, Fender Tele. You can have the other two!

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I started out as a vocal editor for Redone about 10 years ago. I progressed from there to vocal engineer and vocal producer for many top pop acts. After a few years of that I got more into producing and writing and branched out on my own, and in recent years I've bee able to produce and write a number of radio hits.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I think that I bring a hit/pop perspective to a song. I like to identify the strongest part of each tune, and build around that in a way that appeals to as many people as possible.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: Ryan Tedder is a huge writing and production inspiration for me.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I write, produce, and mix for my clients.
