Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I´m working on composing and recording songs for artists.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Honestly i´m proud of every project i begin with my brothers. Brotherhood never fails.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I know to great bass players. Ezequiel Rivas and Laura Corazzina. I would recommed them for sure because they are both great players and most importantly great human beings
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Analog because music cannot stop for the lack of electricity.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: The track will sound just as you imagined it
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Getting to be a part of different projects and adding artistry to them
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: "When is it gonna be ready???" and i say when the music tells us it´s ready
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That it´s "just recording music"
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What do you need? I´m here for you!!
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Always try to be as clear as possible in terms of needs but always in a context of freedom and respect
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I would take a Gibon B-25 acoustic guitar, a Fender Telcaster, a midi controller, a computer and a fine pair of headphones
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started touring in 2012 so a i have a solid 8 years career. I worked touring and recording with several important artists of my country
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I believe i´m an all around guitar player but more focused on the music (the harmony and the melodies) than on the virtuosism. I find more interesting the chance of creating beutiful music more than the feeling of a competition between coleagues.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: John Mayer. Because i think he reunites many qualities that i like in an artist. He´s a great guitar player, a great singer and a great lyricist. All of his songs have a clear message for the listener and invites to think about it. I believe he´s one of the greatest artists of this era
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Less is more
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on pop tunes. More "human" played music so to say instead of more electronic things. Pop, folk, country, bluesy stuff
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I believe that besides the musical aspects my strongest skill it´s to try me best to understand the needs of each client in order to get the sound that they hear on their mind
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I always try to bring a disctintive sound, hook, melody etc for every song. Sometimes it´s easier than other but i feel it´s a good thing to do to make at least a little difference every time
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I get the song and have a good chat with the client in order to really get the feeling of the road to take to make a good job on each track, wheter it needs 10 layers of guitars or just one simple acoustic track
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a professional recording studio in Buenos Aires, Argentina, so i work with the highest quality standars. I have really good instruments (all detailed in the gear highligts) and really good mics, all tracked in a professionally isolated room
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I feel inspired from both old school and new tunes. The Beatles have a undeniable influence on every musician but nowadays also John Mayer, The Strokes or Daft Punk have it, just to name a few. So i get inspiration from every music that´s made with heart, soul and also mind.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: When working in my own studio i usually receive a song with just a piano/guitar and a voice and then from that point i start building what i feels the songs needs to be completed from the point of view of the instruments i play and from a producer point of view
