This guy is the final piece of the puzzle that you need. Transformed my tracks into finished products giving them that 'it factor' and radio ready. Also a great guy in general. If you get the chance to work together in person I'd highly recommend it! 100% recommend

DOPE is the man. So talented and on top of everything.
I had the pleasure of working with Marvin, and may I say, I am blown away. His versatility of being able to understand genres and styles exceeded my expectations, and he delivered me what I would confidently say is the most beautiful record I’ve ever heard in my life.
My man, I had the pleasure of recording Marvin on a few Chrisette Michele records it was such a fantastic experience. Marvin Hollie is an incredible player/producer with the right attitude for any gig. I'm happy to have the opportunity to mix some music he makes and record him.
Marvin is an Amazingly talented producer/ keyboardist who's sound embodies what an artist is looking for. Having personally seen and worked with him I'm more that confidence in his abilities to create lifelong music!!
This is a producer who OBVIOUSLY knows what good music sounds like. Way more than just a "beatmaker."

Interview with Marvin Hollie/Kaye Fox
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: On my own Artist. KAYE FOX. Album is on the way 2022. Single dropping Feb 2022!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Analog. You can't really pour your soul in anything digital, it's not real. Speaking from a creating stand point, we all mix in Pro Tools or Luna which is a Digital emulation of an Analog world. Amazing...but not real.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: People don't understand the correlation between me being a Pianist and me being a Producer.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Most of my questions are mixing questions. For example: The difference in he EQ for a Pop Kick vs an R&B Kick vs an Pop R&B Kick vs a R&B Pop Kick. Oh yea...there is a big difference. Drums are everything!
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Interesting since there is no power in the desert. I would take my Suitcase Fender Rhodes, my laptop (before it dies lol), my headphones, my Apollo Twin, and my Hard Drive.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been producing on this level for almost 10 years now. I don't like using the word "was" but it sounds like defeat to me. I am blessed to be in my career path at this very moment! This is just the beginning. We have more Grammy's to win, Dove Awards, Oscars, Scoring Movies, more Syncs, Arrangements, Seminars etc.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Beyonce, and Rihana because of they are the level. I would also love to work with Stevie Wonder before he passes, DeAngelo, Erykah Badu, Sting, David Foster. I love the Musicality that they all bring. I miss songs with real Bridges, and more than two chords. Real Music!!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Most of my work is R&B, Pop, and Hip Hop along with tons of arranging for Artist show tapes and concerts.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I am currently producing and pre-mixing as I create in Live 11. I am mixing through LUNA a digital analog mixing console that adds color and a little more depth to the mix than pro tools. I have the slate digital with about 12 different mic heads to chose from. I
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: My inspiration comes from my circle, Keith Harris, Kevin Randolph,DJ Lethal, and Jerome "J Roc" Haromon. These are some of the industries most efficient and talented producers. I am also heavily inspired by vintage Jazz, 90's R&B, Journey, Nirvana, and the Beatles.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Did you produce that by yourself? My answer: Yes.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Excellence!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: It's not a Job ;-)
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Don't be afraid to say what it is that you are looking for! Never be intimidated :-)
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is creating and the fact that I've been playing the piano since for over 25 years. Point blank, I am a creator and I love creating from Scratch with or without samples doesn't matter. I always make it my own.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Organized Noise!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Stupid!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring love and life to a song. Everything doesn't have to be DARK. I love Stevie Wonder! I love live instruments, strings, horns, fender rhodes, guitars, etc.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My work process starts when I wake up. I meditate, hit the gym, and then off to the studio. The gym and meditation gets my mind ready for creativity. Once I get to the studio it just comes natural and happens effortlessly.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common type of work that I do for my clients would be creating from scratch and producing an entire record with a top line melody. I also very often arrange different records, and complete ideas for my clients.
