John is an audio engineer who specializes in acoustic-rock, rock, post-rock, hip-hop, pop music for mixing and mastering.

He currently operates his private studio Gorillas Nest Productions in Northern Greece.
Over the course of the last 5+ years, John has worked with both bands and artists while having graduated from the Department of Music Technology and Acoustics Engineering at Hellenic Mediterranean University in 2015.

Being a musician himself, since the age of 13, John understands the frustration and pain of creating a result that expresses the musician’s feeling, down to the last detail in audio mixing and mastering.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I ask for the rough mix they made (or the recording engineer made) and a reference track.
