bald as love
Mostly known as a guitar player in france, as many compagnies hired me for clinics ( music man, rocktron, VHT / Fryette, suhr guitars, fender, EVH, Lâg, AVID, Ibanez guitars, Bogner amplification, savarez strings, and more...)
I am a multi instrumentist and producer who can manage a project all by myself like I did in my solo album for grooveyard records "universal mojo" or when I work for world class producer Rick Allison ( 30 Billions records sold )
of course I would also record guitar parts or mix songs.

A: it's all in the box, except anything related to guitar amps and effects.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: A producer called Rick allison who sold billions of records in europe asked me to preproduce a cover album. I did it all from the first kick to the final mix. We had a blast doing this.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. Analog recreations by universal audio makes a great job. It’s like having it all in the box.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I work super fast. If I’m no scheduled yet, I’ll send my work in less than 24 hours. A couple of hours only for guitar tracks.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: I love parallel compression for drums, ( with distressors ) but taking the kick and sometimes toms out ot the drum busses and processing with API vision channel strip adds extra punch that works really great with my kit.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I have my own sound, polished drum parts, analog and warm guitars, I can bring new ideas to the project or carefully respect the ideas od the producer.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I really like the Toto , Michael Mcdonald but Also al jareau or gorge benson. Great musicians with great producers and engineers !
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I’l known to be a guitar player, but I work more and more as a mixing guy and I love it !
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Don’t hesitate to ask me to change things. A project is always open, even if after the deadline.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: my guitar, my amp, a tube screamer and good cables !
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started as a solo guitarist / producer at 15 working with the french label « JMS » they were into jazz rock ( holdsworth, uzeb ). I moved to amsterdam at 20 and played in many blues club, I started working in my solo records back in france, then music man guitars made me an artist deal, then a clinician one, and I had my first record deal with grooveyard records.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: As a guitar player I’m known to be as technical as emotive. As a producer or mixing guy, they just say I’m good and fast.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Micheal McDonald. The music is soulful, the sound is fantastic and musicians are amazing.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rock, metal or punk rock for clients. My own thing is more funky, jazzy and bluesy
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I’m known here in france as a guitar player. I did many clinics an released a couple of solo albums.
