A: My promise is to treat every record with care, intention, and emotional honesty. I commit to delivering high-quality vocals and songwriting that serve the song first, not ego. I communicate clearly throughout the process, respect timelines, and make sure we’re aligned creatively at every step. My goal is always to elevate the record and make sure the client feels confident in what we create together.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: I usually ask a few key questions to make sure I understand the vision and can deliver the right result. This includes what the song is about, the intended vibe or reference tracks, whether they already have lyrics or need topline development, and how they envision the vocal role in the record. I also ask about release plans and timelines so we’re aligned on expectations from the start. If it’s a collaboration, I’ll also check how credits and usage are intended to be handled.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: Been doing this for 10 years professionally :)

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: My style is rooted in R&B and Soul, with influences from Pop and Electronic/House music. I focus on emotionally driven vocals, strong storytelling, and melodic lines that feel both intimate and powerful. My sound moves between softness and intensity, depending on the emotion of the record, but always stays honest and expressive. I aim to create vocals that feel timeless, with a modern edge that fits across genres.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: My strongest skill is my ability to translate emotion into melody and vocal performance. I naturally hear and create toplines that feel memorable and emotionally honest, and I know how to deliver vocals in a way that carries depth, texture, and intention. Whether it’s R&B, Soul, Pop, or House, I’m able to adapt my voice while still keeping a distinctive identity that makes the record feel alive and human.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: bring emotional depth, strong melodic instinct, and a distinctive vocal tone that can adapt across R&B, Soul, Pop, and Electronic/House records. I focus on storytelling through vocals—whether that’s lead, toplines, or harmonies—making sure every part feels intentional, expressive, and memorable. I also bring versatility in delivery, from soft and intimate to powerful and raw, depending on what the record needs. My goal is always to elevate the emotion of the song and give it a voice that stands out.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: My process is very collaborative and focused on clarity from the start. I begin by reviewing the track and understanding the creative direction and intention. Once we’re aligned, I record a short rough vocal preview to lock in direction before moving forward. After approval, I develop and record the full vocal (or topline), focusing on emotional delivery, layering, and detail. I then send a full bounce for final feedback, make any agreed adjustments, and once everything is approved, I deliver the final dry stems. Throughout the process, communication stays open to ensure the record feels right creatively and sonically.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: I’m inspired by artists and producers who balance emotion with sonic innovation. Musically, I draw a lot from voices like Lauryn Hill, Aaliyah, and Mary J. Blige for their storytelling and emotional honesty, as well as contemporary artists like Frank Ocean, SZA, and H.E.R. on the R&B side.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I primarily work on topline writing and vocal delivery for R&B, Soul, Pop, and Electronic/House records. This includes lead vocals, background vocals, harmonies, and vocal layering, as well as demo vocals for pitching purposes. I also support clients with full song development—from melody and lyrics to final vocal recording—always focusing on emotionally driven, high-quality performances that elevate the record.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I am currently working on my own artist project, songwriting for MK and a few other dance projects and also music for sync.
