A: I've always been a singer/songwriter and guitar player working my carrer as a solo artist in Brasil, I started co-producing my own material with Bruno Bona, a very bright young music producer from Brasil
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is a collection of strong melodies with refined arrangements breathing with them, very dynamic and detail enriched but never over doing it, with a mysterious and exquisite sound design aura around it.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Seal...he matches my production style.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: A good song can be tested on just a piano and voice, if it has the essence people will love it...if it doesn't, everyone will just forget it and there's nothing you can do as a Producer to save it.

A: Pop, Rock, Pop-Rock, R&B, Blues, Folk, EDM.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Producing Music, Songwriting and Playing the guitar.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring richness of details and musical enhancement to any song I Produce.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start with something that inspire me, it could be a melodic motif, a catchy guitar riff, a finger style acoustic guitar intro or even a drum loop...Then I write the composition (Harmony and melody), once I have the song created I start Arranging and Producing it using my DAW. I map the form of the song and start to arrange and recording instruments to the different parts of the song.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I got a Focusrite Thunderbolt 192kHz 24bit audio interface hooked up to a Mac Pro 2019 with 16 core and 96Gb RAM, 6 Tb of SSD storage running Logic Pro 10.5 and Pro Tools with hundreds of plugins from world's top manufacturers. I use Neumann U87ai and AKG 414 microphones passing through a Universal Audio LA-2A to record instruments and vocals. My studio is acoustically treated by professional Acoustic Engineer Rui Nakano. Paul Reed Smith Guitar, Martin Alternative X Special Limited Edition Acoustic Guitar, Fender Precision Bass and a lot of effect pedals, including a Talk Box and a Vocoder from T.C. Helicon.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Michael McDonald, James Taylor, Tommy Emmanuel, João Carlos Jobim, George Gershwin, John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Scott Henderson, Chick Korea, Frank Gambale, Allan Holdsworth, Marcus Miller, Jaco Pastorius, Trevor Horn, Quincy Jones, Prince, Bjork, Stanley Jordan, Pat Metheny, Don Mock...
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually start a song from scratch, write the top melody (artists provide their lyrics), play and record all instruments, program synths, sing (the oficial lead vocal or just for reference), mix and master the song and deliver a radio ready track for the artist and can master it for digital music platforms (iTunes, Spotify) also.
