Hi, my name is Sebastian Kalka and I am an independent freelance musician/producer based in Northern Ireland with high-class studio equipment.
I am available for any suitable studio music projects, including incidental and soundtrack accompaniment and have also played live music for many years in blues, jazz, funk, rock bands etc.
Im a music composer and arranger with a master's degree in orchestral conducting.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I composed and produced "I Guess" , track for young band called The Tumbling Paddies, that song took them to big venues in Ireland and UK. Unfortunately Covid came.

A: Nathan Boyle 3 tracks INDIE music Mikaela Boner single "The Mask" Adele style ballad

A: Equipment? - Digital Instruments? Analog

A: You will be happy when you will hear final mix.

A: There is always space to arrange a song in different way

A: -How it sounds like? - I like it.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That production process is longer then recording
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Listen their tracks it will tell you everything

A: guitar, piano, drums, trumpet, cello

A: Im doing this in last 10 years and Im happy to continue. I my passion.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Classic style with modern touch
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I have recorded many many musicians. They are not fames but real artists. I always would like to work with artists with vision, passion and good skills
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't scare to leave silence or only one instrument in the track,
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Indie, pop, rock
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Guitar, Strings, to hear the final output before instruments starts play
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: In the work process main thing is to rings proper balance between music output and number of instruments. Very often "less" sounds better, I'm always trying to reach best composition from artistic and estetic point of view.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Main thing is an idea. It can be a melody, chord progression from that point I'm starting to create a track. Some its clear from the begining how the track should sounds like. Sometimes Im canceling some instrument because during creation process better ideas came out. Everything is unstable on the beginning but during work vision is clearer and sounds great. Me and my clients are always vary happy of the final result.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: There is a lot good produced songs. I like Adele quality records or music film scoring created by Hollywood music makers. I like all music professionally produced.

A: Composing and recording full arrangement for simple guitar or piano idea played by our customer. Live recording instrument and top class software instruments. Finally mixing and mastering
