Hey there! I'm Candice. I sing, write songs, and dabble a little bit in music production. I am open to any music genre as I have always listened to and perform a wide variety of music. If you have a vision or an idea which you need help executing, leave me a message, I got you!
I mostly focus on singing, songwriting, and arrangement. However, I also do music production and editing here and there. I play the guitar and keyboard and these are my 2 main instruments which I use when writing. I grew up in a musical family and was quickly exposed to many different types of music. I started performing, writing, and learning musical instruments from when I was very young as well.

Interview with Candice
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm working on 10 full-length songs currently. It's a project that really captures who I am in art form. These songs will be available on all streaming platforms. I'm also working on reaching and connecting with a lot more people through my music, be it new listeners, people I could potentially build a great working relationship with, and perhaps even friends.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The creative process.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: The biggest misconception is that it's just all fun and games. While most of the people I know, including myself, in the field of music genuinely like/ are passionate about what they're doing, the truth is that it's also such a long, rigorous process to create music. It gets mentally, emotionally, and even physically taxing at times. We have deadlines to meet and we also encounter some issues. It's all worth it in the end, but it doesn't always come easy.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I'd like to think it's my songwriting.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a very simple studio set-up. I only have all the basics such as 2 acoustic guitars, a keyboard, a trusty condenser microphone, pop-filter (for my condenser microphone), a dynamic microphone, and cords-- plenty of cords!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm very inspired by Avril Lavigne's songwriting, as I grew up listening to her music. I remember saving up a lot of money every year to buy all of her albums and getting so excited to hear her music as soon as I get home. There are so many other musicians that inspire me such as Amy Winehouse and Joan Jett.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Singing, songwriting, composing, and arranging are the most common types of work. I work on plenty of different genres. Whether it's a full-length pop song, a jingle for a company, a song that you want to dedicate to someone, or if you need someone to do a stripped down acoustic cover, etc.
