I'm Francesco and I'm a session guitar player with more than 15 years of experience in studio and live on stage.
I own professional equipment to always guarantee a good quality job. My favourite genres are blues, rock/blues, funky, pop and rock. I'm not the right person if you need a musician for jazz or metal songs, sincerely.
I always record my electric guitars in stereo and when necessary, for example on chorus rythm parts, I do a double track of my parts to enhance the stereo effect. Of course, I have the possibility to give you the naked track without effects (reverbs, distortion etc.) so you can use your plugin to get the perfect sound for your mix.
I also offer acoustic guitar parts, I own a good condenser microphone, which gets me good results.

Interview with Francesco Polese
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Really difficult question: My Stratocaster, my Marshall head, my cabinet, a Tube Screamer and a Reverb.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: My main genre now is Pop music and R&B.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I think my strongest skill is to have the ability to put my guitars without make them the main actor, but a part of the cast that help the director to have a beautiful film :-)
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring my music origins which are a mix between Blues, Rock and Pop.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I really want to help you to get the top from your song. If there's something you don't like on my job we can discuss it and find the best solution for YOU.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First of all I need to understand the sound that the Artist/Producer would like to achieve.. Then I work for steps asking feedback to the artist to deliver the perfect guitar track.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I own a iMac 6 core i5 with Logic Pro X. I use Line 6 Helix to get the sound I need. This machine is really helpful specially on pop music where you need to find particular sounds that could be difficult to create with analogic machines.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I have a lot of artists that inspire me.. The list could be really long. I think my Top 3 is: Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Stef Burns.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually record acoustic guitar tracks, electric guitars track and lead parts for my Customers. I also offer arrangements proposal and parts that could be helpful when you mix all the project.
