A: Both. I use the best of both words.

A: The deadline to provide the tracks.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Listening to the results.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: The deadline. My answer is as soon as I can ;-)
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Sounds can be change after recording them. I can manage similar results, but as my synths usually have no presets, I can't recall the sounds.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I usually ask for references.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: If you are looking for that sound you've heard on the tracks you've heard, I have it!

A: Vintage Synths sound design and programming.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Analogue Synth arrangements, electronic drums programming and Sound design (SFX).
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I receive the track and the specs for the recording session (tempo, bitrate and sample rate). I usually ask for references and the exact needs for the song. Then I start working programming the synth parts and sound. I provide the synth parts requested and some more tracks I feel that'll fit the song. If the song calls for it I also do some Sound Desing work.

A: My studio setup is based on my hardware synths collection: Moog Minimoog Model D, SCI Prophet 5 Rev 4, Roland SH101, Rhodes Mark I, Custom Modular Synth,... I have some external FX to record the synths direct on track, as the Roland Space Echo RE-201, EHX Memory Man, Moogerfooger 12 Stage Phaser, OTO Bam and Ensoniq, DP/2.
