Hey I’m Fabian de Armas! I’m a multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter and chief engineer at Lawson Recording Studio. I write and record happy, uplifting, and nostalgic songs, inspired by the sounds of The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and many others. In fact, it all began at a young age; After watching The Beatles Anthology video and Paul McCartney play live, I became inspired to pursue a full-time career in music. Throughout the years, I’ve been actively engaged in a wide array of musicality, such as learning to sing and perform in live settings, teaching/mentoring students’ and their progression in various instruments, and creating an entire home recording studio from scratch. I’ve recorded and played thousands of hours in my studio, but the most impactful thing I’ve learned is allowing my subconscious to free me from the shackles of overthinking. Mistakes are essential component to learning and growing as an artist. I believe creating music in the moment leaves room for spontaneity, “happy accidents” as The Beatles exemplified in many of their songs. Music for me has always been about the journey, not the destination
