Hi, I’m DJ Gomi — a New York–based producer and remixer with a long-standing presence in the global dance music scene. I specialize in high-quality remix production and club-focused sound that translates powerfully on the dancefloor.

DJ Gomi’s career spans decades of influential work across the international dance music world, including collaborations with Beyoncé, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, and Whitney Houston. He is also celebrated for his iconic remix of Seasons of Love from the musical Rent, which remains a dancefloor classic.

After early mentorship under Haruomi Hosono (Yellow Magic Orchestra) and formal training at Berklee College of Music, Gomi moved to NYC and quickly established himself as Junior Vasquez’s main programmer at the legendary Sound Factory. From there, he rose to become an in-demand producer and remixer, shaping countless club hits alongside world-renowned DJs and producers such as Roger Sanchez and David Morales.

In 2025, he produced the highly anticipated new album for queer icon Kevin Aviance, further cementing his reputation as a creator of bold, expressive music for the dancefloor and beyond. Beyond his work in the studio and behind the decks, he has also collaborated with companies such as Pioneer and Roland to contribute to innovations in music technology.
