My name is AlexC. and I am a dedicated mastering engineer with a passion for sonic perfection and technical excellence.
With over 13 years of experience in the industry, I have had the privilege of working with talented artists and successful producers to transform raw recordings into refined, ready-for-the-world musical works.
My approach to mastering combines technical precision with a sensitive ear for musical aesthetics, ensuring that each track reaches its maximum potential.
I am passionate about my work and firmly believe in collaborating closely with artists to realize the unique vision of each project. My mission is to provide a mastering service that not only respects but exceeds artistic and technical expectations.
My usual turn around on projects is between 1-3 days depending on the project, that includes 2 track revisions.

I can do stems mastering too on Luna by UAD, with the amazing Neve Summing and Ampex® ATR-102 Mastering Tape Recorder.

Q: How would you describe your style?
A: It's a modern techno with some electronic/house and groovy contamination, sometimes a bit sad, but impactful, and obviously dreamy.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Actuallty my favourite artists are a Elif, Skala, Gespona because i really love the sound, Our labels are a point of reference for that kind of genre and this is the sound that inspire my dj set and production.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work with techno/house music
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Normally i start composing a chord progression or a melody, then i create a simple but efficient drum groove, if they fits, i write a bassline and continue to do all the rest, Finally when i have all the tracks and the correct drafting, i start with the mix, bounce all and do the mastering on another separate mastering's project, on LUNA by UAD.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work in my home studio, on Ableton 12, with Yamaha HS80, Audient ID44mk2 and Beyerdynamic 990pro. I use a lot of VST like Arturia ( CS80, Sem, Pigments2...), U-He, and a collection of my favourite plugin like UAD, Plugin Alliance and SPL. Hardware in my home studio: Mabook Pro 14, Audient ID44mk2, Roland TR8, Moog Subsequent 37, Arturia Minilab Mk3, Novation Launchpad X , Icon Platform M+, Yamaha HS80, Sennheiser HD25, Beyerdynamic dt990pro. I produce my original techno music, and i do mix and mastering service for a lot of local artist.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm working for 2 artist friends, for they last production mastering and mixing, and i have about 10 of my tracks ready for the labels.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I work with passion and love for the music, and i promise a quality work
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Everyday is a new adventure, a new goal to reach.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: unfortunately the most requested thing nowadays is the question of money, and I try to make it clear that quality is paid for and is necessary to emerge.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: First of all i'm a music fan, and this is the most important thing. I think he can be satisfied with the quality of the product and the competence that I can offer.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: First of all my Smartphone with my Sennheiser HD25, i ca'nt live without music. Then i think mi iMac with Arturia Minilab, so i can continue produce music.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I'm a dj since i was 16, then i started working with my father, a famous and talented sound engineer and owner of an italian rental company, and i became a sound engineer since 2007, working for a lot of concert, festival and events, also maintaining the profession of the DJ, with a lot of concerts and collaborations with many realities of northern Italy. During all the time i'm focused on my inedit tracks production, growing day after day.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: One of the most important things it's the cleanliness of the sound, use eq for edit all your tracks and instruments and clean the various sounds from unnecessary frequencies, to have a clean and detailed sound spectrum.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Mix and mastering cause i'm a sound engineer, but for my production i think drum groove, and synths.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Emotions, power and mental states.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I listen a lot of melodic techno and house music, and i'm very inspired by the sound of Tale Of Us, Artbat, Moonwalk, Stefan Bodzin & other bigs of this genre.
