Mixing/mastering for Anahit (Eurovision), Mia Boyka (500M+), Goro (139M+), and global brands like Picsart & IQOS. I specialize in modern trap and pop sound — clean, hard-hitting, and ready for all platforms. 10+ years of experience and millions of streams behind my work.
Hi, I’m Sergey — a mixing & mastering engineer and music producer with 10+ years of experience crafting clean, modern sound for artists and brands.
I’ve worked with standout voices in Eastern European pop and hip-hop, including Anahit (Eurovision Junior finalist), Mia Boyka (500M+ total streams), and Goro (139M+ views on YouTube). I also collaborate with Fargo, a chart-topping producer behind multiple regional pop hits. My mixes have helped tracks reach millions of streams on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube, with a focus on clarity, energy, and emotional impact.
As a composer and sound designer, I’ve created music for international brands like Picsart, IQOS, BetBoom, and Winline, contributing to campaigns and digital products across Europe and the US.
After relocating from Moscow to Armenia, I launched a new studio that quickly became a local hub for pop and hip-hop — even hosting sessions with artists like Big Baby Tape, who later performed at Rolling Loud Thailand 2024. Today, I work with artists worldwide, delivering streaming-ready sound that hits.

Sergey was the perfect person to work with on my project.
Patient, advised and so talented to make the sound you're looking for.
I'm looking forward to work with him soon. I worked with Sergey on my two EP in different styles. He is very sufficient professional and makes all the best to rich relevant result. Two EP were published with label Klever.
It necessary to mentioned that during studio sessions with Sergey lots of new ideas were born, what also makes the result better. It means that he is really creative and can make comfortable creative aura in his circle.
Our team and Sergey were very lucky! For the showreel, he made the first sound draft in the shortest possible time, at the same time very high-quality, and most importantly in the atmosphere of references that we picked up! After the mounted video, I have already finalized and reduced it properly! Seryoga, you are the best🙏 always in touch
We’ve been working on 5 songs. All of them were different: classical, rock, electronic, alternative and pop. And I can say that Sergey is a genius cause all of them turned out to be amazing! I can highly recommend him to every person cause there’s no task he can’t solve! ✨
Interview with Mazel Tov
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: One project I’m especially proud of was a track I worked on with Anahit — an artist known from Eurovision. I recorded her vocals, developed the backing vocal arrangements and harmonies, and handled the full mix. The result was a vibrant, emotional pop track that helped define her current sound and resonated strongly with her audience.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Not yet — but I’m always open to discovering and collaborating with other great professionals on here.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. I use digital for speed, control, and recall — but I love analog feel, texture, and imperfection. It’s not about the gear — it’s about the ears and what the track needs.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Helping people hear their music the way they imagined it — or better. When someone says, “this finally sounds like me” — that moment never gets old.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: “Can you make it sound like [artist]?” Yes — but only if we keep your identity in the process. I can match references, but my job is to make you sound the best version of yourself.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That mixing is just adjusting levels or adding reverb. It’s actually storytelling — shaping emotion, energy, and space. It’s not just technical, it’s creative direction.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Look for someone who’s not just technically skilled, but also understands your vision. I don't just process audio — I help bring your ideas to life. If that’s what you need, let’s talk.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don’t over-polish. Keep some rawness in your mix — that’s where the soul is. The magic often happens in small imperfections and brave choices. Trust your instincts, not just the meters.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring clarity, emotion, and perspective. I help artists shape their raw ideas into fully realized songs — technically polished, but still personal. I see what’s underneath the surface and help it shine.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It starts with listening — really listening — to the artist’s intent. I usually begin by organizing stems, aligning the energy of the track, and focusing on how vocals sit in the mix. From there, it's a balance of intuition and precision to make everything hit right.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work in a dedicated mixing and mastering room, acoustically optimized for critical listening. The space is fully treated and calibrated, allowing for precise decisions that translate across all playback systems. My setup includes high-resolution monitoring, an Apollo interface, and trusted tools like Auto-Tune Pro, Waves, UAD, and FabFilter. It's a space built for sonic accuracy.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I’m inspired by producers and musicians who are deeply immersed in their craft — from legends like Mike Dean to the artists and collaborators around me. The local community I’ve grown through matters just as much as global icons — it’s where your ears and instincts are truly shaped.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I primarily work as a mixing engineer for trap, pop, and R&B artists — helping bring out clarity, depth, and emotion in their tracks. I'm also frequently involved in full song production: from vocal arrangement and beat creation to final mix. It's what I love doing, and what people come to me for.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Right now I'm mixing several tracks for returning clients, producing an EP for a US-based artist from the fashion scene, and working on my own solo project — including music videos and more.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to take your song to the next level by understanding your vision, listening closely, and bringing the best out of your sound. Every track gets a unique, honest approach.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I usually ask to hear other songs by the artist to understand their vibe. I also ask them to describe the new project and what they want to feel when it’s done. That tells me a lot.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, headphones, a portable interface, a mic, and some kind of solar charger — because inspiration doesn’t care where you are. I just need a way to capture the idea.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started making music as a kid and never really stopped. From early FL Studio experiments to full productions, I've been doing this for over 10 years — first for myself, then for others. I’ve grown through practice, not shortcuts.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Hard to define — but you’ll feel it. My style lives somewhere between clean precision and emotional chaos. It’s personal, modern, and always driven by the energy of the artist.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Kanye West. His ability to shape culture, break sonic boundaries, and turn vulnerability into power has influenced me more than anyone else. That goal still drives me every day.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I mostly work on hip-hop, R&B, trap, and alternative pop. From street anthems to emotional slow-burners — I produce beats, shape vocals, and mix records that are both bold and intimate.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I bring a unique mix of intuition and technical skill. My clients often tell me I understand their vision better than they expected — and help them hear their own song in a new way. I don’t just mix, I connect.
