Head editor at Tooth and Claw Audio. Meticulous and Musical Editing, Tuning, and Comping. I have spent a great deal of time developing my ear for editing tasks, utilising my extensive experience in all facets of the recording process - both sides of the glass. All of my work is done with genuine passion and a close-up focus on the details.

COMPING
This process involves listening through and selecting the best raw takes for each part; and cutting/fading between them to create one seamless take - leaving you with the best possible vocal performance.
I always conduct my work with a keen focus on ensuring the final comp is not only accurate, but also comprised of takes best suited to conveying the intention behind each individual song.

VOCAL EDITING (TIMING/TUNING/ALIGNMENT)
Through a combination of industry standard pitch-correction tools (Melodyne/Revoice), and my experience working in a wide range of genres (pop to metal), I can help elevate your vocal tracks. Whether it be the vision of an artist or a producer; I can provide major surgical work to performances that need a helping hand, light correction to polish an already great performance, or heavy tuning and time alignment to create a ‘pop-perfect’ aesthetic.

INSTRUMENTAL EDITING (GUITAR TIMING, BASS TIMING/TUNING)
All of my instrumental editing will be conducted with your vision in mind. Time alignment is done meticulously and by hand - with a focus on respecting the original performance, and enhancing the existing groove of the track.
I can provide ‘robotic’ edits for certain parts (or whole tracks where genre appropriate) but my focus and speciality is editing in a way that provides a competitive modern polish, without removing human character.
