Dedicated mix engineer working from well equipped home studio. I'll make your mix sound organic, punchy and in your face while maintaining the integrity and natural sound that make you you. I love searching for that special vibe and character at the core of each particular song to make it stand out to the listener.
My name is Emil and I live in Aarhus, Denmark. I am a live-sound and studio mixing and recording engineer and producer. I have been playing music (drums and guitars mostly) for most of my life, and have always been very dedicated to music and sounds. I have quite broad and extensive experience within live-sound, both in terms of sizes and types of setups and all manner of different genres.
I work from my home studio, mainly using Pro Tools and my trusted Dynaudio speakers. I am very dedicated when it comes to finding just the right type and amount of colouration and texture for each individual source in a mix to make it all stick together as one coherent sound. I always strive to achieve that open, warm analog character that make stuff fit so much better together in a mix. I have experience mixing in lot's of different genres from blues, r'n'b and singer/songwriter over electro-pop and trip hop to hard rock and death metal. I like stuff that is kind of quirky and left field, and I like listening to music where the heart and soul of each musician is translated through the speakers. I generally fint music that is overly quantized and auto-tuned, and what have we, to be boring and flat. I simply don't find it interesting to listen to music where I can't feel the musicians and imagine the them playing right in front of me.
