Endorse Hunter LaMarI have worked with Hunter many times now and his leadership, sense of direction, clearness, and creative sensibilities are absolutely amazing! As a hired musician, he always gives me a clear vision of what he wants me to play. He always sends reference tracks and videos to give me a clear idea of what we are going for. I also want to mention how creative Hunter is, his arrangement skills and ability/control over reharming chord progressions is truly next level. Im always impressed and left with learning something new. Whether its live or in the studio, I absolutely recommend!
For the prolific musician, there’s a delicate balance between individualism, commercialism and craftsmanship, and Hunter LaMar maintains all three in his work. He’s wildly creative and has a lens through which he views music that you quite literally will not find anywhere else. In an industry of formulas and blueprints, Hunter is a refreshing departure from assembly-line music making, instead allowing his art the ability to conform to the situation, concert, and/or artist without sacrificing his own voice. He is certainly one to be considered for your next project, song or arrangement.
Hunter is a multi talented force and I've worked with him a few times now and it's always a pleasure. He's a great writer/arranger and an amazing MD also, I've worked in the studio and on stage with him and he's one of the most professional reliable people you're gonna meet. He's also really fun to be around also and makes you laugh! Can highly recommend
Great vibe! Hunter did an excellent job honing in on what my instrumental track needed when it came to topline writing and his voice really made the song come alive. Totally thrilled with the way may my new song came out!
Hunter is a supremely talented vocalist and songwriter that provided both his voice and music to my film JOHN HENRY starring Terry Crews, Ludacris, and Ken Foree. After originally bringing him in for background vocals on the score he was able to step up and sing the title song for the film (acapella) and also provided a featured hip hop track for a critical scene that worked perfectly and fits right in with the DJ Quik songs that fill out the rest of the soundtrack.
Hunter is creative, reliable, and paid close attention to my specific sound as an artist in his arrangement and music direction as well as his accompaniment. Working with him is always fun and he brings great energy to everything -- whether it's a show or a rehearsal.
