Violinist Extraordinaire

Are you looking to add authentic and heartfelt lead, ensemble violin parts or a blazing fiddle solo to your compositions? My name is Kristel, and I am a classically-trained violinist, holding a Master's degree in Music (MMUS), but am also a singer-songwriter/composer with experience in many genres of music. I have commercially released 6 albums.

I am an experienced performer, with 25+ years playing extensively in both live and studio settings, and have worked in various genres ranging from classical through to a variety of contemporary styles.
I would love to work with you on crafting the perfect violin parts for your song or composition, be it a rich and multi-layered string ensemble, or a soaring string solo. Whether you have specific parts scored-out which you would like me to play, or would like new parts to be written from scratch for your piece, I am able to assist!
I play primarily on a beautiful Italian-crafted instrument, and also have the option of electric violin with effects if the occasion calls for it. Looking forward to hearing from you soon!

After listening to your song and understanding your direction for the string parts I begin to record. I can either work off a chord chart, scored out parts or improvise/play by ear. If you have specific references or a feel in mind, please do let me know.
I then send labelled and cued-up solo or ensemble parts back to you for your mix.
One revision session is included in the offer. Subsequent revisions or requests can
be negotiated on a per case basis.
