Joe on SoundBetter

Getting a producer is not all that difficult, but getting a producer to bring your vision to life is hard. Because understanding that ultimately the artist will be delivering the story that they WANT to tell, bringing that VISION to life is something not all producers understand.

Hey! Nice to meet you. I’m SJ Foong (people call me Joe). I’m a music producer based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. If you don’t know where that is. No big deal. I help singer-songwriters and vocalists transition to full-blown pop acts. Sometimes this means taking an acoustic song and transforming it into an electro/pop production. Sometimes this means making a track for you to write to. If an artist feels like their sound is outdated or doesn’t stand out. I come in the fix it. Or If you're an artist looking to expand your EP for remixes, I'm more than happy to tell your story through my sound.

Having a "go-to" producer is not that easy because you are essentially TRUSTING that producer to deliver your VISION.

My process is simple, we'll start with a call so that I am able to understand your project in detail. All of the terms will be laid out so that there are no surprises. Typically the turnaround time on most projects would be between 5 - 8 business days. At the end, you will receive all the necessary files.
