Fantastic. Working with such a professional is truly the way to go. It's like a really great wine. Once you've been down that road there's no turning back to the cheap stuff. It's the same when working with seasoned professionals such as Marcus. His mics, drum set up and, ability to stream and track (and engineer!) are all on the highest level. Do yourself a favor and save time and money by going with a pro that's gonna get right and deliver you excellently engineered files.
Another excellent drum track!
Great sound, well written and performed parts. Top notch recording quality.
Marcus is a excellent drummer whose work on my project made my song come alive! Not only did Marcus provide a super-tight groove (with just the right amount of deliberate looseness here and there), he let me watch, listen, and provide my feedback on his recording session—via Zoom. It was awesome hearing my drum track take shape in real time. Marcus is professional, very detail-oriented, and a good communicator. I definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a skillful, versatile drummer.
Marcus provided an amazing track. His live session approach via zoom is superb. His ability to multitask feedback, suggestions, approaches and takes is really quite astounding. Marcus digests tune complexities quickly and does not allow anything to get on the way of progression towards completion and provision of the track.
Excellent player... Highly regarded and recommended!
Marcus invited me to the session via zoom, in view of the distance you can't get more real than that. It felt like I was in the studio with him. He is very meticulous and precise. He provided me with everything I needed for the song.
Marcus is a great musician to work with. The communication was outstanding. He was well prepared and had the music down as if he had been performing the song for awhile. The tracks that I received from included additional takes as well as additional hits. I highly recommend him.
What do you do when someone gives you a really quick turn around, terrific drums, and is excellent to work with? Hire him again.
Marcus is a total PRO drummer and wonderful musician with huge sense of artistry. He delivered 3 takes, all with top-notch quality and put magic and intelligence into the song. Superb communication and fast turnaround. Virtual session is really a great experience too. Looking forward to doing more music with him. Highly recommended.

Marcus is one of the most incredible drummers I have worked with. Not only is he a master of his craft his sense of musicality is what strikes me most. He’s a great writer as well which also sets him apart. Hire him, you won’t be disappointed!

Marcus is quite simply one of the most incredible drummers and musicians I've ever had the pleasure of working with.
He is a consummate professional in every sense, delivering 2 complete unedited takes of breathtaking artistry, technique and musicality in super quick time with state of the art audio quality.
I cannot recommend Marcus Finnie highly enough to deliver all your drumming expectations and more!!!
Saxophonist with Incognito, Bill Bruford, The Headhunters and more.....
Marcus Finnie is one of the most thorough, accurate and sensitive musicians that I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. He possesses the fire and wisdom of predecessors such as Harvey Mason, Steve Gadd, James Gadson, Yogi Horton and Tony Williams. His conception is wide-ranging; he’s as equally at home with pop country as he is with blues, rock and creative improvisational music. Marcus can play YOUR PART and he can also become THE PART —that special rhythm you never knew your song needed. Try Marcus. He’s 100.
One of the most versatile and thorough musicians I know. A consummate professional and incredible drummer.
Marcus is a monster player and MUSICIAN. A true great.
He's played drums on over 10 tracks for my projects. Outstanding feel. Hits heavy; not hard. Can lock swing or play it straight.
Trust me, you won't need more than 2 takes.
