Eddy Faulkner is an Asian American independent artist and entrepreneur based in Los Angeles, California. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Lynchburg in Virginia. His original songs have been licensed by MasterChef, Maccabi Tel Aviv Basketball, 5 Minute Recycle, Best Friends Animal Society, Brawl Stars, Supercell, Real Madrid, HyperX, Formel Skin, Rob Gronkowski, ESPN, Apple HomePod Mini, Pandora Jewelry, Jagermeister, Beauty Blender, Michelle Phan, MTV, FaZe Clan, AXE and Amazon Prime Video. He has been featured in Forbes, Huffington Post and ABC. He has been invited to perform and speak at events put on by Barack Obama’s AAPI director, AAPI D.C, Kollaboration, American Heart Association, The Heroes Project, Tysons Corner Shopping Center and 94.7 Fresh FM. He also started his Make An Impact Series in which he performs, recruits fellow artists to perform, and recruits sponsors and charities for performances.   1. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  2. A: Vocals. Topline. Session work with guitar, piano and drums. Showcasing other creators and companies on my Make An Impact Series. Events. Partnerships. Sponsorships. PR. Marketing. Sales. Business Development. Innovation. Philanthropy.

  3. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  4. A: FaZe Clan and AXE/Unilever emailed me about my song All The Way and wanting to use it for a 10 second advertisement. It is still up on FaZe's Instagram, Twitter and YouTube channels. I was paid $1,500 directly from my friend at AXE's agency Big Sync over PayPal. Wonders of technology, right?

  5. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  6. A: I have secured Bleav Podcast Network, Westfield shopping centers starting with Century City, Banc of California Stadium and SoFi Stadium as presenting partners for my series. I’m booking in dates for activations starting in July on a weekly basis both in-person and virtual. I have put together a list of companies who would like to align such as Honda, Ally Financial, goPuff, iHeartMedia, Audacy, Wondery, Moment House, Hooked, VICE Media, FOX Corporation, Diageo, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Nordstrom, Facebook Messenger, Amazon, Mars Wrigley, Boohoo, Verizon, Logitech, Rekorderlig Cider, Concha y Toro, Wella Company, Procter & Gamble, Musician’s Institute, Point Blank Music School, Berklee College of Music, Full Sail University, New York University, Songtradr, Charity Water, No Kid Hungry, Salvation Army, Direct Relief, American Red Cross, Unruly Agency, Clubhouse Media Group, Crib Around The Corner, Empire Social, Ingenuity Live, The Grove LA, Four Seasons Hotels, Hard Rock Hotels, Resorts World in Las Vegas, Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas, Jumeirah Hotels in Dubai, Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale and The Goodtime Hotel in Miami.   16. A: I should just be an artist and focus on creating music. Wait...then how do I make a living?

  19. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  20. A: Laptop, cell phone, guitar pick, guitar wire, drum stick and...pizza?

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: I started my business Eddy Faulkner Music LLC during my last year of college in 2014. I am an artist first and foremost, but ever since moving here to Los Angeles have been merging over time my passion for people, business technology, and giving back together.
