Mr. Thomas is a great Mixing Engineer with a great ear. I make music and sometimes having another ear to mix and bring your mixes to a high level is needed. Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is my creative abilities with all aspects of the entertainment industry in general. I love being bold with my work and trying new things.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I am proud of a 14 song project I worked on in 2021. I'm proud of it because I had 3 days to finish it and I worked tirelessly for over 48 hours and it came out a success.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm working on new mixes for a few clients right now.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Yes, I have a producer friend by the name of DreBeatz who I would recommend.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both for different reasons and situations. But digital is definitely the future.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Questions commonly ask me what's the turnaround time. I tell them standard can usually take a week but I do offer rush delivery services
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: The biggest misconception about what I do is that some may think that mixing will make a bad recorded song sound like something on the radio. But it won't. There has to be quality control through every process of making a song.

A: I ask do they have any favorite artists that they feel their sound is somewhat similar too.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: My advice would be to check out some of my reviews and music samples above.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My laptop, interface, headphones, microphone and a solar powered charger bank! LOL
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: My career is Music and Entertainment. I've been doing music for over 15+ years now.

A: My style is bold and doing what hasn't been done before.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Chris Brown because the vocal production and mixing on his songs are great.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't ever be afraid to be different and creative. Sometimes it may work and sometimes it may not. But always try new things and be bold.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on R&B, Hip Hop, Pop, EDM but over the years I've had the pleasure of working on so many more (Afro Beat, Reggae, etc).
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I strive to bring crazy, cool, creative elements to a song when a client allows me the freedom to do so. I'm more of a creative mixing engineer.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My typical work process is focusing in on a single song to give it the attention it deserves. I work on the project as long as it takes to get it perfect.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work on an iMac Pro and MacBook Pro. I mix in-the-box in ProTools Ultimate. I use high quality professional UAD and Waves plugins. I have Neumann microphones, BAE 1073MPF Microphone Preamp, Tube Tech CL1B Compression, Purple Audio MC77 Limiting Amplifier.
