Solid groove. Wooden upright bass sound. Playing lots of styles authentically. 15 years of experience.
Hello, and thank you for listening to my sound samples.
I am the right guy if you are looking for a solid groove, a wooden upright bass sound or for someone who is experienced in playing different musical styles authentically. For 15 years I have worked as a professional live and studio musician. I am lucky to provide the noble art of bass playing for great projects in the fields of: jazz, swing, funk, salsa, samba, bossa, reggae, rhumba, ballads, rock’n’roll and and pop music. Plus I can play them both: Country AND Western! A special joy for me is working with singers. So, if you are a singer songwriter and are after a nice bassline for your song, please show me what you have. I am very curious about what I could help you with.
If you are a producer and know about the advantages of live played instruments over sampled ones, please send me the music. I will guarantee you an upright sound that is full of life without losing the good intonation you are used to when using sampled bass instruments.
I have divided the sound samples that you are about to hear as such: samples where you hear the bass in the context of an ensemble or a band, and samples where I play different styles of grooves with only a drum track. With these, you'll get a good impression of how my playing sounds purely and together with other instruments.
