Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: No one just yet, but I'd love to meet new people and colleagues.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: It can be anything, but I usually master music in the genres of: EDM, Hip-Hop, Rap, Reggaeton, Jazz, Latin, Soundtrack, Podcast, Trap, R&B, Soul, Rock, Metal and Pop.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Audio mastering, critical listening and special attention to the very subtle details that make a huge difference in the final result of a well done master.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Quality control, playback systems translation, sound optimization ensuring the song sounds better than the mix that I received.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First I get an order/request from the website including the mix. I then download the mix and read the technical specifications it has such as Bitrate, Sample rate, key root note, tempo, etc. After that I listen to the entire song one time as a regular person and then a second time as a critical listener and take down notes for anything that may need to be fixed or something that can be enhanced. From there, I will being mastering the song and afterwards I will export it and go through a quality test where I listen to the mastered song on different playback systems and file formats and resolutions to ensure it translates to most of them and with the best quality.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a simple, but nice setup with the necessary acoustic treatment, equipment and software needed to deliver a professional master for your music.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: All, as I feel very proud of every project I work on as every project is different and needs special treatment.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: From home, that's where my studio is at although I could move to any studio if needed.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both: analog for the warmth, flavor and natural sound and digital for the very specific necessities and the small details and more control.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: If their mix sounds right and if the mix is ready for mastering.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That mastering will fix a bad mix, BUT the true fact is that the better the mix the better the master.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Which platforms or playback systems are you planning to distribute your music on?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
