Interview with GabbyLuk
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Cover project.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will do my best.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: I don't get a lot of questions.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What are you feeling?
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Water, guitar, my boyfriend, hoodie, and my dog.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been doing this all my life. When I was 4 years old I started to sing and was in a kids group. But when I was 14 I wrote my first song and never stopped.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I like to improvise.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Lykke li. It would be a dream come true. She is BRILLIANT.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't be afraid of your feelings. Express yourself and what you feel. Music and love are the most wonderful things in the universe.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I'm a mashup of difference. The last song I recorded a couple of days ago is kind of a rock genre.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My soft like a feather voice. Sometimes it can sound grunge or whatever you like.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: All my childhood and my first teenage years I was listening to rock music. My favorite bands are Guns n Roses and Motley Crue. These rock bands inspire me to never give up. But Lykke li inspires me the most. Her voice, her music, her deep lyrics.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: When I am writing a song I like to write what I feel. When someone asks to write lyrics for their song I like to know what they felt while making an instrumental or what they want the song to be about. Is it about love? Or maybe anger?. I love different genres of music and each song I write is different and beautiful in its own way.
