You send the tracks, I'll turn them into music.

Most of my previous work has been in live sound engineering, where I've worked with a huge range of acts - anything from rap concerts with Artists You've Heard Of, lots of rock bands, to traditional English/Irish folk music. Throughout my career as a live sound engineer, I've made multi-track recordings of the gigs which I'd then use for mixing practice.
More recently, though, I've been focusing on recording work including large-scale classical concerts as well as solo acts here at the studio.

One of the things I excel at is taking your description of what you'd like the music to sound like, and translating that into tech speak, fader moves, and great results.

I'm keen on high-fidelity, honest music - I don't like to throw a load of plug-ins or processing at something just because I can.
I also have a strong interest in electronics. If the right thing doesn't exist yet, I'll get to work and build it!

Absolutely fantastic working with Chris. He has top quality equipment and knows how to get the best out of it. We found it very easy getting my ideas from my brain, and onto a track. We worked on a 4 track folk EP, each track having its unique quirk which Chris very easily accommodated for.
Other than that I have I have worked with Chris on numerous live stages and his live engineering is second to none. The best of anybody I've worked with as a performer. It was an absolute pleasure to work with him and highly recommend him to anybody looking for live sound or professional recording
