I'm Gian Marco, a producer and songwriter from Venice - Italy, making bittersweet music under the name Tanarouge. My sound spans from vintage, tape, and analog textures to more modern and synthetic elements, with influences from various genres. Throughout my career, I’ve explored both traditional EDM and underground electronic music, branching out into neoclassical, jazz, indie rock, and singer-songwriter projects.
I debuted in 2015 with a duo formed with a longtime friend. Our remixes gained traction online, catching the attention of platforms like Rolling Stone and Genius, accumulating over 10 million streams.
After years of introspection, I launched my solo project Tanarouge in 2021 with the release of Coordinates, a melancholic solo piano track that marked a break from my earlier work and showcased my versatility.
Since then, I’ve continued to produce for local and international artists, releasing remixes, and appearing as a co-producer or ghost producer on many tracks. I have surpassed 100 million streams across platforms, collaborating with leading national major labels.
