Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I get to work with music, all the time!
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Mixing and mastering are two vastly different things. I may know what I'm doing when I'm mixing a song, but I'm the first to admit I'm far from a professional when it comes to mastering.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Always double track the vocals on the chorus--trust me on this one. It will make the finished procut sound wider and fuller and really bring out the melody line
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I try to turn every track into a visceral experience--I want you to FEEL the music, how it makes you want to move your feet, bob your head, or sing along
